The original 1869 ticket office of St Pancras station, inside George Gilbert Scott's Grade I listed former Midland Grand Hotel. Reimagined in 2021 by Hugo Toro as a Victorian winter garden: a room roughly ten metres high with monumental brick arches, tall Gothic windows, palm trees and outsized chandeliers. Hotel-cathedral scale rather than bar scale, and unusually easy to walk into given what it is.
