Opened by the Andreu family in 1940 and now run by the third generation, El Cable is one of the oldest tapas bars in Sitges and one of its most decorated — four-time winner of 'Best Tapa of Sitges' and 'Best Tapa of Catalonia' in 2013 for its tuna tartare, 'Buscant en Nemo'. Beyond the award plates, the patatas bravas, fried squid and ham croquettes are the reliable classics that have kept the room full for over eighty years.
