Come in the morning before the Oberkampf crowd emerges, or at lunch for a quiet coffee. It is less hectic than Holybelly with equally good coffee, and a good work-from-café option. It is the neighbourhood's calm, dependable brunch-and-coffee room — small, unflashy, and consistently good, the kind of place locals fold into their morning routine. In a part of town that gets rowdy after dark, it's the daytime counterweight: a tiny terrace, a strong flat white, and room to linger over a laptop.
