Grab a beer or coffee from the kiosk and sit at the terrace tables under the pines. The view spans from São Jorge castle to the Tejo and Cristo Rei across the river. Sunset brings local crowds — families, couples, students. Stay for the blue hour when the city lights begin.
Late afternoon and sunset for the best light and atmosphere. The outdoor cafe stays open into the evening. Weekends attract more locals. Combine with a walk through Graça neighborhood or a visit to the Panteão Nacional downhill.
One of Lisbon's seven hills and among the best miradouros for combining views with authentic neighborhood life. The Graça area is residential and less gentrified than Alfama or Bairro Alto. Tram 28 stops nearby at Igreja da Graça. The pine trees make this one of the few shaded viewpoints in the city. Free to visit, cafe prices are reasonable. If you want sunset views without the Portas do Sol or Santa Luzia tourist crowds, this is the correct choice.
