A rooftop terrace perched above the Carmo quarter in Chiado with a panoramic sweep from the Castelo de Sao Jorge to the dome of the Panteao Nacional and the river beyond. The setting is more curated than Park Bar — designed furniture, a proper bar setup, DJs on weekends — but the view is equally commanding. The crowd skews younger and more international.

Gin tonica is the house standard and they stock Portuguese gins that are worth exploring — Sharish, for instance, changes color when tonic is added. Cocktails are more considered than typical rooftop offerings. Super Bock on tap for when simplicity is the right call. The food menu (burgers, sharing plates) is competent but secondary.
Late afternoon from 5pm for the golden hour view of the castle, or Friday and Saturday evenings from 9pm when the DJ sets create more energy. The terrace is weather-dependent — brilliant on warm evenings, closed or diminished in rain. Summer is the primary season.
Located on top of the Centro Comercial do Carmo in Chiado — take the elevator to the top floor. The rooftop is split between a restaurant area and a bar area; the bar terrace has the better view and more relaxed seating. Weekend evenings can queue for entry when the terrace reaches capacity. Prices are rooftop-standard, meaning 10-14 euros for cocktails. The Chiado location puts it centrally between the Baixa and the Bairro Alto — central to everything.
