Dois Corvos Taproom

The taproom of Lisbon's most respected craft brewery, located in a converted industrial space in Marvila that smells of malt and wet concrete. Dois Corvos (Two Ravens, from the Lisbon coat of arms) brews on-site and the tanks are visible behind the bar. The space is large, raw, and industrial in the way that only actual industrial buildings achieve — high ceilings, exposed pipes, concrete floors. The beer is serious and the crowd is a mix of expats, beer nerds, and Marvila locals discovering their neighborhood has become interesting.

Insider Intel

Order This

The Finisterra IPA is the flagship and earns its reputation — balanced, citrus-forward, properly bitter without the hop-bomb excess. The seasonal and experimental taps (usually 4-6 rotating options) are where the brewers stretch. Ask for a tasting flight if you want to cover range. The Matiné session ale is excellent if you are pacing yourself across a Marvila afternoon.

Best Time

Saturday afternoon from 2pm to 6pm when Marvila's brewery-and-gallery circuit is in full swing. The taproom is open Thursday through Sunday typically. Friday evenings draw a post-work crowd. Check their social media for special tap releases and events.

Know Before You Go

The taproom is a single large room — order at the counter, find a seat at the long communal tables or the smaller tables near the tanks. Draft pours and canned four-packs to take away are both available. No table service. Marvila is a 15-minute taxi or a short train ride from central Lisbon — not walking distance from the tourist centre. Several other breweries (Lince, Musa) and galleries are within walking distance for a Marvila circuit. Dois Corvos does not serve food but usually has a food truck outside or allows delivery. The outdoor seating area fills first on sunny days. Open Thursday through Sunday, closing earlier than central Lisbon bars — typically by 10pm or 11pm. Card accepted.
