Set under the arcades of Plaza del Castillo since 1970, Baviera offers something the tighter pintxo streets can't — a terrace on the city's grand central square, where the whole social life of Pamplona plays out. The pintxos and raciones are modern and well made, and the wine and spirits list is broader than the casual setting suggests, but the real draw is the seat itself: front-row people-watching on the most important stage in the city.

Dusk, when Plaza del Castillo's terraces fill and the light softens on the arcades. The people-watching peaks in the early evening paseo hour.
Right on Plaza del Castillo under the arcades — prime square frontage. Service runs roughly 12:30–15:00 and 19:30–22:00, so aim for those windows rather than the dead hours between.
