A no-frills neighborhood parrilla in Congreso, off the tourist trail, where locals who know their beef eat well for very little. The bife de chorizo is excellent at prices that seem implausible, with provoleta and house wine rounding out a simple, perfect meal. Lunch brings the local business crowd, dinner the neighborhood families; it is walk-in, no reservations needed. There is nothing fancy about it — just proper Argentine beef, an authentic atmosphere, and the quiet confidence of a place that locals have kept to themselves. The value is genuinely hard to beat.
