South of the main beach scene, this chiringuito is what beach bars used to be before design blogs got involved. Plastic chairs in the sand, cold beer, simple seafood, and locals who've been coming for decades. It's unpretentious to the point of being almost invisible to tourists, which is exactly why Valencia residents keep coming back. The paella here is cooked over wood fire right on the beach, and while it's not the fancy stuff served in the city, it's honest and cheap and eaten with your feet in the sand.

Insider Intel
Cold Estrella Damm, grilled sardines if they have them, or order a paella an hour ahead for your group. Keep expectations realistic and you'll be charmed.
Weekend lunch when families roll in with kids and grandparents. Summer evenings for sunset beers. Off-season when the tourists vanish and it's just locals and the sea.
Cash only. Service is whatever pace it is — you're on beach time. Not easy to reach without a car or bike but that's part of why it stays local.
