Valencia's central market — a 1914 hall of iron, glass, and colorful tiled domes, its stained-glass panels and ceramic decoration making it one of the most beautiful market buildings in Europe, and still a thriving food market. Free, no ticket. A working food market with published conduct rules: do not touch the produce, do not block aisles while photographing, ask before photographing a stall, and guides must brief groups outside the building.
