Weekday mornings are calmest. Closed Mondays; Sundays and holidays are mornings only. Entry can be capped by capacity, so avoid the mid-morning surge off the Cathedral and Alcázar.
Free, with no ticket and no booking — one of the best-value interiors in the city. The upper floor is visitable, adapted as an exhibition route through the building. Reduced-mobility access is via Plaza del Triunfo by prior call.
