A hybrid that runs as a specialty-coffee and brunch room by day and turns into a story-driven cocktail bar after dark, in premises off Rådhusplassen that had stood empty for years. Founded by Adrián Michalčík, who won Diageo World Class Global Bartender of the Year in 2022 competing for Norway, after a spell as director of mixology at Amerikalinjen. The name is the concept: east meeting west through Nordic design, tradition against invention, and one room that changes character between morning and midnight. Closer to a gallery than a bar, with an interactive lighting system, art on the walls and tea ceremonies alongside the drinks.

Insider Intel
Something from PROVERBS, the cocktail list where each drink turns a proverb into a glass — Silent Paparazzi for "a picture is worth a thousand words", or Invisible Spot for "it is dark under the lamp". By day, a sando on Japanese shokupan.
Two visits in one address: mornings for coffee, tea ceremonies and brunch; evenings once the lights drop for cocktails and sharing plates. Open latest on Friday and Saturday, closing early on Sunday and Monday.
Opened December 2025 by Adrián Michalčík, Diageo World Class world champion 2022 — that is the bartending world title, not a World's 50 Best listing. Nominated three times at the Bartenders' Choice Awards 2026, including Best New Bar, though it won none of them. Listed at Tordenskiolds gate 12 rather than on Rådhusplassen itself, despite the press coverage. Sources disagree on whether weekdays start at 10:00 or 11:00, so check before an early arrival.
