The Delachaise

An excellent Uptown wine bar with small plates and a long whiskey list — and pommes frites that have become genuinely legendary. Order wine by the glass or whiskey neat, but the frites with aioli are required. Come late, when chefs arrive after their shifts; it is an industry favorite. The small space makes bar seating ideal.
