The bandstand kiosk in the Arenal park, between the old town and the river, has become an unlikely fixture for an evening drink in the open air. Set among the trees with the Teatro Arriaga and the Nervión nearby, it trades on location and easy atmosphere rather than mixology heroics. On a warm evening the terrace is one of the most pleasant places in the city to nurse a vermouth.
