A modernista survivor from 1910 on Nou de la Rambla, where circus performers drank between shows and Picasso, Miró and Hemingway all put in their hours — the trapeze still hangs over the bar to prove the first part. Long, mirrored and gloriously unrenovated, it runs on beer, classic drinks and live music some nights, carrying the Raval's bohemian century into the present tense.
