The premise sounds reductive — pizza and cocktails — but Dry Milano executes both halves with enough conviction to make the combination feel inevitable rather than gimmicky. The Negronis are textbook, built with the precision you would expect from a dedicated cocktail bar. The pizzas are thin-crusted, properly charred, and topped with combinations that lean creative without losing their Neapolitan foundations. The Brera location on Via Solferino keeps the crowd stylish and the room buzzing until late, when the kitchen winds down but the bar keeps pouring. It works because Milan has always understood that eating and drinking are not separate activities but a single, continuous evening.

Follow it with a pizza; the toppings rotate seasonally but the margherita is an honest benchmark. Late-night, the cocktail menu deepens and the signatures emerge. The combination of a well-made drink and a proper slice at midnight is a pleasure that transcends its simplicity.
From 8pm onward when the dual identity comes alive — cocktails at the bar, pizza at the tables, the room filling with Brera's evening crowd. Late-night after 11pm is excellent for a final Negroni and a slice. Weekends are busiest; weekday evenings are more relaxed and the bartenders have more time.
